Request a piano moving estimate

Start with the piano, date, and both ZIP codes.

This request starts a feasibility and estimate conversation. It does not book a move.

Moving crew planning access for a specialty-item move

Piano and property details

The route matters as much as the piano type.

Share the piano type or description, plus the model or dimensions if you know them. The team reviews the instrument and the route through both properties before confirming scope.

Photos and measurements can help clarify doorways, turns, stairs, elevators, floor surfaces, and the final position. The team will tell you what additional details are needed during follow-up.

Route feasibility

Trace the complete path at pickup and drop-off.

A useful assessment follows the piano from its current position to the vehicle, then from the vehicle to its final position.

  • Vertical route: note the floor, exterior steps, stair count, landings, and whether the staircase turns.
  • Clearance: flag narrow doorways, tight hall turns, and other points where fit is uncertain.
  • Instrument details: share dimensions or a model number when known; these are planning inputs, not confirmation that the move can be handled.

What the form collects

Send the first feasibility details.

There is no photo upload in this form. If photos would clarify a tight route, the team can request them during follow-up.

Scope review

The details determine whether the move fits.

The request starts a review of the piano, both properties, the preferred date, and the access information you provide.

Service fit, availability, scope, and the estimate are confirmed after those details have been reviewed.

Move planning FAQ

Useful answers before you request an estimate

What should I include when asking about piano moving?

Describe the items involved, both locations, access at each stop, and your preferred timing. Call out anything unusually heavy, fragile, or difficult to reach.

How will Two Sons Moving review this request?

The team reads the move notes and follows up where the scope is unclear. Availability and pricing are discussed directly; sending the form is not a reservation.

How should I describe a Fairfield County building?

Yes, access can change crew time and truck placement. Mention parking, elevators, stairs, driveways, and longer carries vary by property so the conversation reflects the job rather than a generic route.

Can packing be added to piano moving?

Ask about it in the same request. Explain whether you need full packing, selected rooms, or help only with fragile and awkward pieces.

When should I ask about my move date?

Reach out once your timing is reasonably clear. Earlier notice leaves more room to review access and availability, but a date is not held until it is confirmed with you.

What will Two Sons Moving ask during follow-up?

Expect questions about inventory, stairs or elevators, parking, the route, and building rules that apply to this service. That conversation confirms the next estimate step.

Hello everyone. I moved across Connecticut. I had a bad experience with several companies before and I was really anxious as the move got closer. However, these guys did an excellent job. The coordinator was helpful and professional. He showed up on time to give me a quote. The price was very competitive and stayed the same all along, not like my moves before! We went through all my move details. The coordinator was kind and attentive and he was making it much less stressful. The movers were quick and efficient, and my place was packed carefully. Upon delivery, the crew were great as well and now I feel at home again!

I just wanted to take a moment and let you know how impressed I was with your load crew. The crew was professional and worked well as a team. I would have given them 5 stars, but I typically don't give them out.
